Coming in to Seattle. A very pretty approach - snow-covered mountains, winding rivers. Then I was confused to see the unmistakable shape of a Concorde on the ground. I found out later Boeing has an aircraft museum of some sort down there...  Posted by Hello

Not a Concorde, rather an XB-70 supersonic bomber, from ~ 1960. Only a few prototypes ever built.

The Concorde was produced by Boeing's greatest rival, an organization now known as Airbus. I suspect the Boeing folks would gnaw their own arms off before exhibiting a Concorde.

Hmmm. Maybe what I was looking at wasn't Boeing at all, but was the Seattle Museum of Flight. It *really* looked like a Concorde...and they got one. (Next time I'll bring my GPS...)
